Last week I had the privilege to spend a week at Mount Eliza Business School, Melbourne University. I was sent on the all expenses paid trip by The Skills Organisation, sponsors of the Young Professional of the Year Award I recently won. It was suggested that, as a young professional, I might like to attend a leadership development course. My ego felt that we could tackle something a bit ‘harder’ than leadership, so instead I selected the course Developing Strategic Thinking.
Trust, a simple five lettered word. One that we throw around a lot and an important value for many of us. We look for trusted brands, we develop trusted relationships, we trust our children, our Government, our parents, and the list goes on. Most importantly, we trust ourselves and the plan that the universe has for us. Right?
